I went to get lip filler, and they told me it might not come out pretty because my mouth was drooping. When I said, “My mouth is drooping?” they said my double chin was heavy, so the fat around my mouth was sagging and the corners of my mouth were drooping too. It was so absurd, but I pulled myself together and searched for liposuction clinics.. (my mood was ruined, but I still got the lip filler; it disappeared instantly after 3 weeks) I went to consultations at a few places, and among them I liked how the director at ㅈㄹ explained things. I don’t know, I just thought liposuction is liposuction and booked it. At ㅈㄹ, the consultation manager is very gentle. A bit different from the managers at other plastic surgery clinics who drain your energy.. I fasted the day before and went to the hospital early in the morning. This was my first experience with “surgery,” not a procedure, so I was extremely nervous. When I lay on the operating table, my whole body was shaking, literally physically trembling. The nurse asked if I was cold and covered me with a blanket ㅠㅠ I’m the type who usually enjoys drinking, so I wondered what if the anesthesia didn’t work.. but I was anesthetized right away and lost consciousnessㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ After riding around on a rainbow of five colors, I came to and the surgery was over. I immediately took a taxi home (maybe because the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, I somehow felt so upset and just wanted to go home quickly and sleep) The next day, my double chin swelled like crazy. And it hurt. The bruising looked so awful that I wore a mask to work (thankfully it was winter). I got the stitches removed after a week, and before that I disinfected the area every day at home with individually packaged cotton swabs soaked in iodine. They told me to shower with an aqua bandage on so water wouldn’t touch it, so I did that. There weren’t really any problems. The swelling went down quickly, and the bruises moved downward.. ㅡㅡ I wore only turtlenecks for 2 weeks. They sutured 3 spots total, 2 under the chin and under the ears, and there wasn’t even a trace of scarring. But the numb feeling under my chin didn’t come back for a long time. Until about 7-8 months, parts of it didn’t feel like my own skin. It was hard. There was zero post-surgery care, and you had to pay for radiofrequency treatment in the management room in the basement of their building. This is just my feeling, but even the radiofrequency was done very halfheartedly. I got it 3 times and stopped, but I regret not getting 5-6 more sessions. Still, with time, the hardened areas naturally loosen. Radiofrequency just helps it loosen faster. Now it has been well over a year since the surgery, everything has loosened, and all sensation has returned. The best thing after surgery is, above all, that because the fat cells were removed, even if I gain weight again, I don’t gain it under my chin. I gained 4 kg after surgery, but under my chin is still slim. I don’t look dull at all, and I don’t feel like I’ve gained weight. There are no downsides, just that if you’re going to do it, do it in winter? Even if I turned back time, I would still get this surgery. However, exactly one side effect? happened. I sweat under my chin.... On a super hot summer day, it feels like about 5 ml comes out. Maybe the sweat glands got opened during surgery; I originally barely sweated under my chin, but now it’s the moistest area of my face (a handheld fan is essential) Hmm, what else should I write... I’m not sure about recommending a hospital. But isn’t liposuction all the same? I recommend this surgery itself!
