While looking into double eyelid surgery, I happened to see a YouTuber whose eyes turned out so beautifully in the algorithm, so this is a clinic I figured out and visited by looking only at the surgical gown. I also specifically booked with Director Kim Hong-jin, the same director as that YouTuber. I visited at the end of January, before this year’s Lunar New Year, and expected an extremely long wait, but unexpectedly I went in after just 10 minutes...... Reviews said 1 or 2 hours was standard, and the clinic also said I should take into account that the wait time would be very long (when I first booked, I was deciding between Director Do Eon-rok and Director Kim Hong-jin, so I booked without specifying anyone, but later found out which director treated the YouTuber. I thought Director Do Eon-rok’s consultation style would be impossible for my personality to handle, so I specified Director Kim Hong-jin, and they explained that because of the booking change, the wait could take more than 3 hours and asked if that was okay), so even though I had a long gap before the next clinic consultation, I was anxiously worried I might be late, but everything moved quickly, so I actually had an hour left...... I was very satisfied. From other reviews, it seems I got in unusually fast. I asked everything I had written on my list of questions, and they responded kindly. I was also satisfied because the line they made for me was pretty in a way that suited me well, but I was conflicted because they recommended an upper canthoplasty, which other clinics had not recommended. While thinking it over, I asked the manager in charge whether natural adhesion alone would be possible without upper canthoplasty, and I got an OK response. Honestly, I don’t think it was an unnecessary recommendation, but I was slightly taken aback because I hadn’t heard it elsewhere. Still, I didn’t think they were the type to add useless things and inflate the estimate. They don’t really force reservations, though they do gently suggest it. I was told they didn’t know when the event price would end and that Director Kim Hong-jin’s price was scheduled to increase after February, but when I looked at a plastic surgery information app, it seems the event price is still ongoing. They use a toothpick to mark the line, and it was disappointing because it didn’t feel clean. In fact, as soon as they made the line, my eyelids became extremely itchy ㅠㅠ Because I wondered whether this was right hygiene-wise, I didn’t book surgery immediately, but I liked the surgical method, line shape, consultation attitude, and content, so among the 15 places I visited, I’m considering it my second choice. If I decide to do it in Seoul and don’t plan any more visits, I think I might do it here......
