I saw it on this community and decided I wanted to get surgery there. But after going around to look at several places and actually going for a consultation, I changed my mind and ended up getting surgery at a different clinic. I had congenital ptosis, and I had surgery ten years ago, but as I got older it felt like the ptosis was getting worse again, so I went in for a consultation while taking time off work. My nose had a hump, and because of that hump the bridge was already relatively high.
The doctor came in, and of the three places I had consulted, this was the shortest consultation, and the doctor looked extremely tired. He came in wearing surgical scrubs just to have a brief consultation, that was the strong impression I got. He was kind, but it felt like he wanted to finish quickly rather than explain things in detail. I had previously had surgery at a large hospital and had an assistant surgery experience, so I chose a clinic with one to two doctors, but I was a bit disappointed. For the nose they mentioned 1 mm silicone. I asked whether surgery without an implant was possible, and they said silicone would need to be inserted.
What made up my mind was that at no other clinic was a desk staff member present during the consultation with the doctor, but the three of us were all in the consultation room together. ㅋㅋㅋ They could have waited outside, but it felt too pressuring. The questions were only half-asked, The doctor also seemed rushed and it didn't feel at all like the right atmosphere for a consultation. I was very disappointedㅜ
