I had calf reduction surgery a long time ago, and at the time, the explanations of the surgical technique seemed very professional and the equipment seemed really good, so I read every single post they had written and decided. A few months later, the calf bulge came back, so I had revision surgery. This time it was a retouch, so I didn’t pay, and it came back again, so I paid about one million won for a third procedure, then just gave up and lived with it. Now the shape of my legs: the left side looks bowed outward, the medial side looks deeply sunken when I stand on tiptoe, and the asymmetry between both legs is severe. Even when I get Botox, the medial side sinks in badly, so only the outer side keeps developing. The surgery was definitely done on both the medial and lateral sides.. I went for a consultation recently, but they said my records were too old and no longer available, and that the bulging protrusion from compensatory hypertrophy of the lateral soleus muscle couldn’t be helped. They said they could try operating again only on the lateral side, and that they would make the cost a bit cheaper than the listed price on the website. They didn’t charge a consultation fee. Not only here, but with calf reduction surgery in general, it comes back, and when it comes back, it returns with asymmetry or uneven lumpiness, so I think it’s better not to do it.
