About 10 years ago, I had rhinoplasty here. Back then, I didn’t know anything and just left it to the director, but they used an L-shaped silicone implant, and all the tissue at my nasal tip got worn down. I went to another hospital for an eye consultation, but they actually told me I needed revision rhinoplasty because the silicone was completely showing through... so I started looking into revision surgery. Maybe because plastic surgery trends and materials need to keep being updated, they said that almost everyone who had surgery here comes in for revision because of the L-shaped silicone implant.. I had surgery back then because I didn’t know better, but I think with plastic surgery, you always have to accept the possibility of future side effects and think as much as possible about the chance of needing revision surgery.
