Review on day 4 after incisional double-eyelid revision surgery & lateral-lower canthoplasty

In the past, I had my double eyelids done with the buried suture method, but as I got older they started to droop a bit, and I also wanted canthoplasty, so I was going around to consultations. I was told that lateral canthoplasty would not be effective for my eyes, so I was about to give up, but at almost the last clinic I booked, I heard that lateral-lower canthoplasty was possible, so I chose it! The consultation was also very kind and thorough, and even though I scheduled the surgery date quite far out, they explained everything in detail again, which was nice. I was worried that my impression might become sharper, so I asked several questions, and they answered in detail and seemed to take good care of me, so I felt reassured. During surgery, it was more uncomfortable than I expected, so it was a bit painful, and after sleep anesthesia they woke me up midway. After waking up once, my mind became clear, so it was hard having to stay completely still with my eyes closed.. The pain was generally tolerable!!

After surgery, I had severe conjunctival edema, so my vision was not very clear and I struggled, but around day 2 it got a bit better. Still, tears and residual swelling fluid kept remaining, so my eyes continued to feel uncomfortableㅜㅜ It has not been long since the surgery yet, so I cannot confirm whether it turned out well, but I’m believing it did..!
