I had a 10-minute consultation with the director and a 5-minute consultation with the manager. I went after hearing a review saying they would talk for an hour starting from a lecture, but the consultation was extremely brief and to the point. So I don't even have much to write.. hahaha I have asymmetrical eyes, with one big outer double eyelid and one inner double eyelid.
First of all, it was nice that the consultation was done without taking off my mask. The consultation content was: "Your eyes are easy to operate on. Just do one side with buried stitches to match the inner double eyelid to the outer double eyelid." They didn't even really design anything. There was nothing like, "How about this line?" They just said it would come out similar to the outer double eyelid and told me to think simply. When I asked about epicanthoplasty, they said my eyes were suitable for it, but that from the perspective of the whole face it would ruin the overall balance, so they warned me not to do it. They said epicanthoplasty is a difficult surgery and that it isn't even a revision, but a restoration..ㅎ
So I liked it. It feels like aesthetics matter, but they prioritize making it as natural as possible. I don't want some dramatic change from surgery... At other hospitals, they marked out a line on the big outer-double-eyelid side as if it were obvious to do, but here they said I only needed to do the side without it. They told me not to overcomplicate it... Actually, I was thinking of slightly raising the line and doing just a very slight epicanthoplasty since I was already going to do it, but after the consultation here I also felt like I shouldn't get greedy.
It's my choice, but if I end up deciding not to do epicanthoplasty, I think I'll do it here. If it's buried stitches, like the director said, I don't need to overthink it and can just go ahead, but I'm worried about the epicanthoplasty.
They said there would be no aftercare, and the price was the second highest out of 8 places if based on both eyes, but because I would only be doing one eye it ended up being the lowest price. The manager had a similar vibe to the director. No unnecessary talk, just pricing and reservation info. It was a very streamlined clinic, and the director's personality really showed.
