Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Facial contouring (square jaw, front chin) personal honest review at week 6 .…

It has been 6 weeks and 3 days since I had facial contouring surgery (everyone will be a little different, but this is also a post about my extremely personal facts, and please don't ask for the hospital information. I get a lot of messages, so it is often difficult to check and reply.)

First day... I think everyone wonders at least once, what if I don't wake up from anesthesia. It passes by vaguely, in a daze. Second day, I still wasn't fully with it. I wanted to get the blood drains removed quickly, urinate, and eat something... Day 3 was a fight with swelling and pain. My gums hurt too, so it really hurt a lot, to the point I couldn't look at my phone. Day 4 was similar to day 3. Day 5, the pain was almost just enough for a slightly sore throat to bother me. Day 6, a bit better than day 5. Day 7, roughly all the pain disappeared.

From week 2, I started looking in the mirror more closely.

This is my personal thought. People with pretty eyes, from week 2, it looks like they just need a little more swelling to go down, and it goes down prettily.

People whose eyes are small or not pretty look extremely ugly even with just a little swelling (you need very strong mental resilience). (My eyes are small.) Honestly, until week 5, I don't think I could walk around without a mask. Even when eating, I kept the mask under my chin and ate in a corner seat. Daily life barely worked. I think I avoided meeting anyone and lived like that. When I looked in the mirror every day, I cursed. I spent money, went through pain, lived like I was in prison at home, and wondered what on earth I was doing.... In terms of irritation, I could beat both a teenage girl and a menopausal woman. I got depressed... About 5 weeks passed like this, similarly~~~ Still, starting from week 3, I did half-body baths and walking every day, so I think the swelling went down a bit faster. I actually didn't drink pumpkin juice. It has been 6 weeks and 3 days, but when I eat something like bibimbap, if I put a lot in my mouth, I spill a little. The “eu” pronunciation doesn't come out well. And when chewing, I can feel that the shape of my mouth is awkward. From week 6 onward, something changes a lot day by day: the swelling, the mouth shape, and the face shape.

The best thing is to endure well without getting stressed. If you can avoid looking in the mirror, look less.

Facial contouring surgery is on a different level from doing nose or eye surgery. Seriously... think a lot about it. I think I was able to do it because I didn't know. And even after surgery, I didn't know I would go through this much emotional distress, and I didn't know it would take this long.

I'm not 100% satisfied, but the swelling is going down in a way that lets me see hope, and I'm living daily life without a mask, so I think that's a relief.

Those preparing for it or thinking about it, steel your hearts. Look into it carefully too.
