I rushed to book my first surgery slot for the day after my consultation. The patient right after me had nose surgery, and their appointment time was only 15 minutes apart from mine. So I didn't trust that place and canceled the surgery, but because I canceled just one day later, they said it was a same-day cancellation and didn't refund the deposit. They called me back raising their voice, saying they didn't understand which part made me distrust them. They were pushing me hard to do the surgery that same day, so I scheduled it for the next day instead.. They said the nose surgery after my slot just needed prep time, so even though the appointments were 15 minutes apart, the surgery time was fine, but what about my preparation? Surgery can have unexpected situations and it's different for each person, but is the director so confident they can finish every surgery within 20 minutes.. or what.. A place that takes surgery bookings like that just doesn't seem trustworthy.
