Oh, and I got a lot of comments and private messages asking about the hospitalㅠㅠ so I just wrote down the hospital name and doctor's name. You can check it right above the main text, so I don't think you need to ask me separately where I had it done~ For the cost too, it's the event price listed on the apps ㅂㅂㅌ and ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, with only VAT and 100,000 won for the blood test added on~ So you can refer to that price!
Um, first of all, it has been one month,,,, and I'm already satisfied. Even before surgery, from the front I didn't have a (severe) square jaw, and I was the type with only the mandibular angle under the ear developed, so when viewed from the side, the lower face already shows a rounded, smooth line! My family also randomly says while eating, 'But your face shape really has changed.' I think this is the period when I and people close to me can recognize the change to some extent. But acquaintances who don't see my face every day don't catch it and just say, did you get a bit prettier?... This is probably also synergistic with the fact that I lost about 3 kg...
I have never felt symptoms like tooth sensitivity at all. All the nerves in other areas have come back, but the hollow area of the chin right under my lower lip has almost no sensation. But I can feel the sensation gradually coming back,,, and it doesn't interfere with daily life, so I'm just waiting calmly without stressing about it.
I went to the hospital yesterday and checked the CT images. The nerve lines were not damaged and are intact, and the jaw was shaved similarly on both sides.
But I already thought my face had changed a lot, then when I compared it with the pre-surgery photos, there still wasn't any clear change because of the swelling? I was shocked. I already like it now and just wish the double-chin swelling would go away a littleㅠㅠㅜ but to think there hasn't even been a real change yet...
I knew facial contouring is a surgery you feel satisfied with only after at least 6 months have passed, but I thought I was seeing the effect very quickly,,, until now it turns out the swelling hasn't even really gone down. I'm really looking forward to how much more satisfied I'll be once the swelling goes down haha
Actually, even this morning, my mom looked at my face and said, 'Hey, but your face really did get smaller, didn't it?' Before surgery she was the person who always scolded me saying my face was big and all that lololol ㅠㅠ I answered, 'Ah, Mom! With how much money I spent, of course I should get prettier!' But still, I feel so proud and happy. Before surgery, even when I wrote 10 pages on A4 paper trying to persuade her, explaining why I needed the surgery and arguing that it was safer than expected, she opposed it without even reading it... Anyway, these days I'm looking forward even more to the changes ahead haha I'm against impulsively getting surgery just because you watch TV and envy a celebrity's face shape, but for people like me whose face shape has been a long-standing complex, I think considering surgery once isn't a bad idea.
