6-month review of my first double eyelid surgery

I had cosmetic surgery for the first time in early November last year! Until my mid-20s, I didn’t really have any major complaints about my appearance, so I never even went to a dermatologist, let alone a plastic surgery clinic. But my forehead skin? I guess that’s what I should call it.. As my forehead gradually started sagging, when I put on makeup, my double eyelid line would fold into a very large outline. Because of that, my impression became more intense and exotic-looking lol. My eyelids gradually started drooping too, and as I began opening my eyes with my forehead, my expressions became unnatural and uncomfortable, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery haha. But the hospitals said the distance between my eyes and eyebrows was narrow, so they recommended a forehead lift more. When I suddenly heard about a lift, I got scaredㅜㅠ So I just did double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. The swelling and bruising were really severe at first, but my skin heals well and my bruises tend to fade quickly, so recovery wasn’t a big problem. But.. maybe because my skin healed too well, or maybe because the doctor was too conservative, my Mongolian foldsㅠㅜㅜㅠ didn’t open up. The double eyelid line settled naturally as an inline line, just as I wanted + because of my exotic-looking impression, no one I meet for the first time can tell I had surgery lol. Even my grandmother didn’t notice.. If I weigh the pros and cons, hmm.. my face, which used to look a little vague, became much more defined! People say I’m much prettier than before. Considering I was worried because the space between my eyebrows and eyes is narrow, my eyes also became naturally bigger haha. Putting on makeup is fun too (this is the biggest thing). What feels disappointing is my impression.. I sometimes hear that beyond looking exotic, I look a bit Filipino lol. I feel that way sometimes tooㅠㅜ The biggest downside is that I’m gradually wanting more for my face..? If I hadn’t touched anything in the first place (though I probably would have somedayㅠㅜ), I would have lived my whole life without giving plastic surgery clinics a second look. Since browsing cosmetic surgery apps whenever I’m bored has become part of my daily routine, I ended up getting little bits of filler and contouring injections too lol. I made a hospital appointment for this Thursday and came to my senses, so I’m writing this post.. No matter how much people around me say I’m fine, desire really seems endlessㅠㅜ But I won’t touch my nose or bones. I promised myself! I’ll post after I go for a full-face and dual canthoplasty consultation on Thursday haha bye!
