I had revision surgery with double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and eye correction done by incision. It’s been about a month since the surgery, and although there is still some residual swelling, the double eyelid line seems to be settling into the feeling I wanted! I have a habit of opening my eyes with my forehead, so I also had eye correction, and opening my eyes has become much easier than in the beginning. For the epicanthoplasty, the scar was one concern, but the D-shape was also bothering me, so I asked during the consultation whether revision would be possible. The director confidently said it was possible, and that made me trust him and do it together. I asked for a line thicker than a standard in-out, but not as far as a semi-out, and it seems to have been made thicker. I think once the swelling goes down it’ll settle into the look I wanted. For the incision eye surgery, I disliked the way the incision line showed with that characteristic surgical look, but I’m satisfied because it seems to have healed naturally. I think I’ll need to watch the swelling for another month or two!
