I had surgery because one side of my double eyelid came undone, but it’s a total mess. The functional problems are serious: eye pulling, glare sensitivity, stinging eyes, and my eye won’t close. I can’t open my eyes under sunlight or fluorescent lights. They excised the existing incision line and created a deep scar. Aesthetically, it all failed too, with harsh-looking eyes I paid 4 million won for it, but they ruined a person’s life, and I’ve been living in seclusion for over a year. There’s no extra eyelid skin left, my eye won’t close, and despite creating a severe scar, the doctor only blames my eye structure. I’m even thinking about protesting.
