Hello! It’s already day 4(?) since I had surgery I’m going to get the tape removed now hehe .. After I remove the tape, I’ll add more to the post and write again!
Day of surgery After surgery, the hardest, hardest thing was that breathing was so, so difficult ㅠㅠ Even normally, my tonsils are on the large side, so when I hike or even just pant a little, I tend to get tonsillitis and get sick often, but wow.. this was honestly the hardest time breathing in my life, and my throat hurt like it was being torn apart ㅋㅋㅋ I felt bad for my mom ㅠ but I think I told my mom, please hold the humidifier and aim it directly at me ㅠㅠ Or asked her to buy me a portable humidifier from Daiso ㅠㅠ Mom, I’m really sorry ㅠㅠ I’m such an unfilial daughter.. Anyway, breathing was soooo hard that I couldn’t feel any other pain at all ㅋㅋ It just felt like something was pressing on my face.. that was it..? At that time, I didn’t have much swelling, so I thought, wow, I’m the type who doesn’t swell much haha, what a relief, but...(For reference, I didn’t get hospitalized and booked a motel behind the hospital)
Day 2 Swelling was craaazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋ My eyes were just slits ㅋㅋ The eye swelling was uneven, so one eye was a complete slit, my eyelashes were poking me ㅋㅋ I had bruising too ㅠ haa ㅠㅠ At this time too, my throat hurt about the same ㅠ I think I wet a towel and put it on my face like a humidifier and slept.. But I could feel all sensation, and there wasn’t any major pain when opening my mouth or doing things. There wasn’t any particular pain in my cheekbones or square jaw.. I could feel all sensation from the first day haha Ah, the fat grafting! Haa ㅠ They took fat from the inner thigh, and the bruising on my thigh is no joke. The bruise on one thigh is.. almost as big as two or three palms stacked together ㅋㅋ It’s large and purple.. and swollen ㅠ And the stitches were in the groin area^^ ㅋㅋ During surgery I wore something like a T-panty, and the embarrassment play was seriously intense. I should have shaved... When putting on and taking off underwear, if the underwear catches on the stitches, it really hurts, so I recommend loose underwear. When sitting on the toilet, it hurts because of the bruising, so I recommend finishing everything in one go haha But this much was still tolerable.
Day 3 Day 2 was Sunday, so on day 3 I went to get the bandage removed, and here they had used something like a blood drainage tube on the square jaw area to prevent blood from pooling! Not a blood collection bag! So that’s why the bandage was wrapped around so much! Inside the bandage there was something like cotton to absorb the blood ㅋㅋ It was really bright red and there was a lot.. Anyway, I went to the hospital, they removed the bandage, pressed hard on the pooled blood around the square jaw area to drain it (so painful, I cried ㅠ), removed the blood drainage tube.. (felt really weird), and stitched it up.. This hurt too, so I almost cried ㅠ But because I was going “euuung ㅠ ugh,” the surgery nurse(?) unni comforted me, saying “This is the last part now, hold on just a little ㅠㅠ It hurts, right,” and that helped me endure it a lot ㅋ The swelling that day was seriously no joke too, but it slowly started going down from nighttime hehe (from the eye area toward the lips). Maybe because of that, I got bluish bruising around my mouth ㅠ I applied bruise cream.. From then on, breathing became easier.. Before that, I almost couldn’t sleep at all; if I slept a lot it was about 1 hour ㅋㅋ From that day on, I think I snored and deep-slept for 3-4 hours at a time haha Oh, and that day at the hospital I also received LED swelling treatment and a swelling injection. Maybe that’s why the swelling went down better haha The swelling moved downward, and on day 3 after fat grafting! My forehead is plump!!! Kya, I liked it so much ㅋㅋㅋ My forehead was sunken in ㅠ but it was plump, so I really, really liked it ㅋㅋ
Anyway, that’s how it was up to day 3! Since there was a weekend in between, I’m only now going to get the tape removed haha I’m not sure about other areas yet.. I’ll remove the tape and add to the review again~! Until day 2-3, I seriously wanted to die, it was so hard, and I wondered why I had done this stupid thing, but now I think I’m glad I did it.. Still, I don’t want to do it again ㅠ ㅋㅋㅋ No more plastic surgery now... ha.. I’m so grateful to my mom, who went through so much.. Without a guardian, I think it would have been hard for me. There were many surgical areas too ㅠ I bled a lot, so I often felt dizzy! My mom brought every kind of cushion to the motel so I could sleep propped up, and that was truly the best move! I think a humidifier is essential too.. I want to remove the tape quickly today.. I had time left, so I rambled on mobile.. ++Addition (tape removed) The bones turned out the way I wanted.. but I don’t know if it’s swelling or skin sagging.... ha.. My face is so big.. ㅠㅠ The flesh.. ha.. I did get fat grafting, yes.. ㅠ There’s some cheek hollowing too.. I think I’ll only know once the swelling goes down..ㅠㅠ I’m depressedㅠ Starting today I’ll keep doing warm compresses and radiofrequency.. ㅠ The area around my jaw has a huge amount of what might be flesh or swelling...
