They don’t take separate consultation reservations, so I called on Saturday and they said a consultation was possible, so I went. When I arrived, there were about 6 groups, but the consultations moved quickly, so I only waited about 30 minutes before going in. I went after reading reviews on this community and cafes, so I knew what kind of doctor he was, and that made me want to get a consultation even more.
One of my eyes has multiple creases because of weak eye-opening strength, and the other has an inner double eyelid, so my eyes are asymmetrical. As soon as I sat down, he told me absolutely not to get double eyelid surgery. The main reason was that because my eye-opening strength is uneven, my eyes would still be uneven after surgery. But he said people naturally end up paying more attention to it and disliking it more when asymmetry happens after surgery than when their eyes are naturally asymmetrical, so he told me not to do it. He said it might be possible if there were a doctor better at surgery than he is, but that wouldn’t be easy, and since my current image isn’t bad, I should live as I am. He said if he were to recommend anything, it would only be jaw Botox, and until the moment I left, he repeatedly emphasized that double eyelid surgery was prohibited. He didn’t even talk about the price, and he was so firm that I couldn’t even think to ask lol. But the director was kind and explained things clearly and frankly, and it was also somewhat what I had expected while reading reviews. I hadn’t gone in 100% decided on whether to have eye surgery at all, so I think what he told me was helpful.
