It’s been a little over a month since my double eyelid surgery, and the swelling went down so well that I was even thinking I hoped it would stop going down. But around three weeks later, my right eyeball suddenly started stinging and itching, and it swelled up again, so I went to the eye clinic and was told it was keratitis, so I took eye drops and medicine. The stinging in my eyes got better, but the itching and swelling didn’t go away. The left side kept going down, but the right side was swollen up like it had been right after surgery. After a week I contacted the hospital manager, but they said it was a temporary symptom, and since I was going back the next week for a checkup, I just said okay and left it at that. But today I had plans to drink alcohol, so after wearing glasses for a month, I put on contact lenses for the first time since surgery, even though my eyes were uneven, only did eye shadow, went out drinking, and came home. When I looked in the mirror to wash up, the swollen eye had completely gone down!! I had been searching and worrying and stressing about this for several days because of it.. so I wanted to tell people who are suddenly swollen like me not to worry. I was worried at first too, thinking it might be inflammation, but after 1 to 2 weeks it goes down naturally, so don’t worry!
