I went for a consultation for lateral canthoplasty (revision surgery). As soon as I went in, the director looked at my eyes, made an expression like there was no answer, and sighed. Honestly, I felt a bit bad from that point, but I just ignored it. They said I had severe sunken eyes. I had also looked up various things and understood my eyes to some extent, so I already knew. But during the consultation, in a dismissive tone, they asked whether I thought my eyes could become much bigger. They recommended ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and lateral canthoplasty, and when I asked what if I didn’t do the epicanthoplasty, they said even with all that, it may or may not get bigger, and that even when they explain it, I don’t listen. They glanced through the hospitals where I had surgery before and said I had been deceived into doing it, etc. In one way, these may be things a doctor giving a consultation can naturally say, but the tone and facial expressions were very unpleasant. If I asked something in the middle, they would always say no, answer as if annoyed, and treat me like I was some kind of nuisance. I came for a consultation in a good mood, but whenever I asked a question, they said things like, haven’t you had consultations at several places, study a bit more, and when I asked if it wouldn’t look creepy if the lateral canthoplasty were done excessively, they said even if we do it that way, it may or may not get bigger, so you’ll have to live with the side effects, and kept speaking only negatively. It wasn’t a tone of caring for or worrying about the patient, but a tone of not wanting to consult and not wanting to operate..^^ If you have severe sunken eyes, please take this into consideration. Also, when I asked to see surgical photos of similar cases, they said there are many on the website and told me to look there. Whenever I tried to say something, everything was negative and they disliked it. The quote came out to around 12 million won, and after a discount, it came out to 10.01 million won.
