I was very satisfied with the under-eye fat repositioning, but at first the swelling was really severe, to the point that I wondered if they had put something into my anterior cheeks..!
It’s been two years since the dual canthoplasty, but it hasn’t reattached and seems to be holding up well.
My under-eye area is becoming hollow again, and I saw another review saying they got filler there, so I’m thinking of going.. lol
Whether I rolled forward or backward, I had thought for about 6 years that I needed forehead reduction lifting, but I hesitated because of the scar and cost.. So I did want to consult about forehead reduction lifting too, but I thought it would be too expensive and I didn’t have the courage, so I decided to just do the under-eye fat repositioning and went for the consultation. But as soon as I arrived, they said something like, you need your under-eyes done too, but you also need forehead reduction lifting!! I almost said in my head, I know too, but I can’t because I don’t have money lol.. I said okay. There was no pressure to do unnecessary procedures. But while looking at my face, it did seem like they were thinking, this surgery is a bit disappointing and why was that done like that? haha
Both surgeries were satisfying, but because the doctor has a lot of pride in their work, they did say my somewhat objective feedback was sensitive.
An acquaintance said under-eye fat repositioning was too expensive, but I’m truly satisfied and felt there’s a reason why something expensive is worth its price. But I also felt there’s no such thing as a 100-point surgery in this world.. Even with surgical skill this excellent, not everything can be satisfying, something like that.. (I am sensitive, though lol)
The dual canthoplasty was also more expensive because I had already had two non-incisional posterior and lower canthoplasties, but in the end I think I’m satisfied with the dual canthoplasty too.. haha At first I was anxious because the redness wouldn’t go away, but it eventually disappeared. The part I felt was opened too much was actually opened just right, right up to the verge of being overdone, exposing the sclera very precisely. My eye shape isn’t completely as sharp as before surgery, and it has a slightly rounder feel. I think that’s because they opened the eyes as much as possible, and I’m satisfied. However, it’s still itchy, and the eye discharge is exploding.
And for any members who think asymmetrical eyes can be fixed with canthoplasty, I’ll say that dual canthoplasty cannot fix asymmetrical eyes haha
