Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Byjun Review

First of all, I haven’t had surgery yet and it’s scheduled soon.. I think I’ll write another post after the surgery.. I want to be honest. If it goes badly, I’ll say it went badly, and if it goes well, I’ll recommend it!! The consultation is worth going at least once. The coordinator is really nice! I think of it more as aesthetic improvement than functional improvement, and more toward a broad, blunt nose rather than a sharp one...!!

I had the surgery, and the pre-op consultation went on for a very long time, which made me feel comfortable. It was done under sleep sedation. If it had been general anesthesia, I think it would have been scary, but I personally liked that they did it with sleep sedation. It’s only been about two weeks since surgery, so I still don’t know the result, but I asked for a sharp look, and it turned out very sharp and pretty. I lowered the starting point of the bridge and emphasized the tip, and the tip shape is pretty too! But the bridge is too low ㅠㅠ That makes me sad! This place is great for the nasolabial angle!! There’s no foreign-body feeling at the nasolabial angle, which is really amazing.. There was more bleeding than I expected, so I was worried, but breathing is fine and it doesn’t look crooked so far. Still, it’s only been two weeks, so after the swelling goes down I don’t know how it will look. They definitely did not overcorrect, and it came out very naturally pretty. But that can also be disappointing... I’m a little disappointed with the tip too, so I’m thinking of maybe doing only the tip later. And the rib scar is longer than I expected.. it’s over 4 cm.. They also removed ear cartilage (tragus), and they removed the tragus nicely, so my ear doesn’t look deformed and I can still fit AirPods in!!!! There’s still blood and swelling inside my nose! And there is a bit of translucency? They said it’s still swelling, so I’m planning to watch it. The doctor is very kind! If your aesthetic standards match, I recommend going. At least for now! (One of the operating room nurses... the bob-haired one is too blunt, ,,..... the one with dyed light hair and long hair is super super kind!!. or the one with very small face and black hair is kind too..) That’s just my subjective opinion..! Oh, and there isn’t much aftercare. The coordinator also told me this before surgery, so you should take that into account to some extent. Consultations are free here, so I recommend getting one. I’ll probably write again later~~ Hope the tip stays well~~
