It’s now been over a month. I went to the hospital recently for a checkup. It’s much better than at first, but the left side still shows a pulling mark, so it looks ridiculous. When they did the fat repositioning, they pulled the sagging area up.... I asked them to loosen the pulled area a little, and they said they couldn’t because then both eyes would become uneven. They said they pulled both sides the same... They said the left eyelid is more sagged, so the lower part only looks that way.. I could have argued more, but I didn’t. Because it would basically become me saying, “It was your mistake. Admit your mistake.” And I’m also scared of revision surgery.
Every time I look in the mirror.. I feel both hope that it will get better.. and fear that it might stay like this. Because of the doctor who didn’t acknowledge his own mistake from the start, I’m filled with mixed emotions.
Even the before-and-after photos were taken using lighting.. The before photo was made to look excessively bad, and the after photo was taken blurry so the wrinkles themselves wouldn’t show..
I think this probably isn’t just this hospital, but the same at other places too. I wish that weren’t the case.. but still..
They say swimming and saunas are okay after a month. But the area under my eyes still hasn’t recovered, so I really don’t think I can wear swimming goggles.. After surgery.. I only gained weight. Since I gained weight without moving, the weight is going on in an ugly way too.
I’m curious how long it took other people to wear swimming goggles after surgery..
My son’s double eyelids also became completely inner double eyelids. He said they looked best when the stitches were removed.. I asked if the line could be raised a little more, but the doctor firmly said no..
