I thought liposuction would work, but because it was deep cheek fat, they said it had to be removed.... It’s a surgery where they make a small incision inside the mouth and remove the fat. It’s not a procedure!
I had it under sedation anesthesia, and since I was doing it anyway, I also got Accu liposuction? (they said it’s double-chin liposuction) The injection marks remained...ㅠㅋㅋ And they took fat from my thigh and grafted it to the shadows under my cheekbones and my nasolabial folds (for the second round, I had fat grafting under the cheekbones, nasolabial folds, and the shadow under the chin too) And because they said my pebbly chin was severe, they gave me Botox as a service
And for fat grafting, they really did it little by little, to the point where it was barely noticeableㅠㅠ I wanted to do a lot They said you have to put in small amounts so it doesn’t clump and it takes? Anyway, it’s been a long time so I don’t remember exactly, but they said it’s better to put in small amounts and do more sessions Now, after doing small amounts up to about 5 rounds just for the nasolabial folds and under the cheekbones, I do think it looks genuinely pretty okay. At first I felt it was lacking though
I remember deep cheek fat removal alone was probably 880,000 won, and for deep cheek fat removal + Accu liposuction + fat grafting including the second round, mine was 2.4 million won total I’m originally the type who doesn’t really get swelling or bruising when I do things, so it just stayed exactly as it was after surgery with no changes Other people said the area where thigh fat was harvested hurt a lot, but for me it was tolerable? It just ached like it was bruised
There was only one doctor, so he looked really busy, and I think he only said exactly what was needed and didn’t talk at length? Later on I trusted him a bit more, so I did a few more rounds of fat grafting and also had under-eye fat repositioning. This is really not an ad! I truly researched it myself and paid with my own money
I had the surgery in May 2020! It’s been about 3 years now, and it’s still maintained the same! The disappointing part is that the surgery itself was perfect, but because I have cheekbones, after doing it my face shape became a bit triangular... sigh.. But I think that can’t be helped unless I get cheekbone surgery Still, overall I’m more satisfied than before I did it!
