Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Miplus Review

I had my eyes and nose done together 12 years ago. My eyes were the kind that didn’t really need epicanthoplasty, but they said if I wanted them bigger and prettier, I should do it, so I did. I had full incision, and in the end, by my standards, they ended up too thick/strong, which is disappointing, though people around me often said my eyes were pretty. I only regret the epicanthoplasty.. But that varies from person to person, so in any case the eye surgery was a success.

For my nose, they used silicone and septal cartilage, but maybe because it didn’t suit me, even after steroid shots for scar tissue and all, the swelling didn’t go down well, so the thick bridge lasted for about 3 years. Anyway, it somehow got a little crooked and I lived with it, but maybe because they raised it too high compared to my nose, I developed contracture and my nose lifted.. I went back to the hospital 10 years later to look into removal, and they recommended revision surgery to lower the bridge. They said the bridge was too high and didn’t suit me because it looked like a man’s nose;; I asked them to decide for themselves, and they had put in 4 mm... ㅠㅠ

The doctor said at the first surgery that rib cartilage would be a last resort, but for the revision they recommended using rib cartilage plus autologous dermis, and even though I had surgery here before, they quoted 7 million. In the end, I’m looking into another hospital for removal...

A friend who had surgery here with me had a fleshy bulbous nose, but after surgery she pretends she was born with it and says it was always her natural nose, and she’s had no issues so far, so I guess the surgery just didn’t suit my nose. Before nose surgery, whether here or anywhere else, you really need to study a lot and choose what fits your own nose. If you just ask them to make the shape you want without thinking, problems can happen~
