Nozlab Review

It has been 2 months since my nose revision surgery. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, but I am very satisfied. After my first surgery failed, inflammation developed in my nose, it became lifted, and there was also some contracture, so I spent about 2 years like that, and then on a recommendation from someone I knew, I heard this place was famous for revision surgery, so I came to consult with Director Kang Cha-young. The director spent more than 20 minutes just on the consultation and explained things very carefully, and I was grateful that he also actively listened to my opinions. Thanks to that, I gathered my courage, replaced the existing silicone, and had revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage. Now the lifted, awkward nose tip line has come down naturally, and it no longer looks awkward from the front or side, which is amazing and I am very satisfied.

I was worried about using autologous costal cartilage, but they took care of me, so the incision scar from harvesting the rib cartilage is short and healed well, and it has faded a lot now. I also had some concerns that if it were done with a closed approach, the shape might not improve well, but that turned out to be unnecessary worry because the director said that this was his specialty and that it was a surgery fully possible with a closed approach, and as he was confident, I think it turned out even better than an open approach without opening the nose. Thanks to that, I was able to recover without scars, so nothing shows at all, and the swelling was not severe, so the recovery was faster than I expected, which was even better. After the surgery, the director personally checked every follow-up visit, and since this is a specialty nose hospital, the aftercare was good too. Because I had contracture, I also received oxygen therapy as part of the aftercare, and washing my hair after surgery is difficult, but the hospital provided shampoo service, as well as cleansing care after removing the nasal splint, which was really convenient. Lastly, I was very grateful that the staff were also kind to me every time I visited.
