- Paid 300,000 won for a nose CT scan, consultation fee free - Looking at the CT together, they diagnosed me with a deviated septum and said the inside of my nose was crooked - Surgical method: closed (they said the outer part recovers in a week, the inside takes a few months) *Nasal tip material: septal cartilage + ear cartilage, or mention of costal cartilage (not used in the first surgery much). They said they could decide during surgery whether or not to use ear cartilage *Bridge material: silicone (it comes out nicely), or dermis (disadvantage: it is easily absorbed), or costal cartilage (they said it is hard) + Options: alar base reduction, donated costal cartilage available - Since it includes functional treatment, they said it may be covered by actual medical expense insurance, but in the end the price is similar to other hospitals. How much would actually be covered depends on the insurer, so it is not certain -> Overall: I spent a lot of time researching and went there, but the director only consulted with me for about 10 minutes, and there was no specific mention of the nose shape at all. Even in the explanation of materials, they kept saying, 'You have to open it to know...' so honestly I was disappointed. Still, they never pressured me to leave a deposit, so it was comfortable. Also... they hit me with the facts about my nose (for example, that because of my nose my whole face looked flat), and that hurt a bit.. lol
