I got a consultation because it was the hospital where an influencer I like had surgery. In the video where the influencer talked about why they chose this hospital, they said the price was brutal, but unlike other hospitals it seemed systematic, such as the consultant manager being a nurse, so I went in with high expectations. The consultation was for revision rhinoplasty with functional nose surgery added. The plan was silicone replacement, nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage, deviated septum + rhinitis surgery (inferior turbinate), and filler removal. The director said he had operated on many cases like mine, so it would not be difficult, and for 20 minutes he confidently explained the surgical principles and pointed out each problem with my nose one by one. Among all the revision rhinoplasty consultations I’ve had so far, this one felt the most trustworthy, and I felt confident that if I had surgery here, it wouldn’t turn out badly. Also, they said they had their own method and were the only hospital among those I consulted that said open rhinoplasty was not necessary, which made me more drawn to them. Maybe because it was the last time slot on Friday, the consultant manager’s consultation felt soulless, which was disappointing. When I asked several questions, she also seemed frustrated, so I was a bit hurt.. Still, I liked the director, so I was considering surgery, but I’ve occasionally seen reviews saying people ended up with a witch-like nose, so I’m going to think about it a bit more.
