The reviews for revision lower canthoplasty were the best, so since I live outside Seoul, I set the appointment date by phone and had surgery right away. The doctor was extremely pushy with add-on selling. I had already had lateral and lower canthoplasty before, and because my eyes would not benefit from lateral canthoplasty, I booked the surgery saying I would only do lower canthoplasty. But the doctor kept saying it would look strange. I had already been told during a consultation that my dark circles were not due to under-eye fat but thin skin, so there would be no effect, and I had no intention of doing it, but the doctor even recommended under-eye fat repositioning. When I said no, the doctor said the surgical area for lower canthoplasty and repositioning is the same, so if I want repositioning later, the lower canthoplasty will become strange, and the repositioning cost will go up. They kept pushing add-ons until the very end. I had already come determined to get lower canthoplasty, so I did it, but I wish they knew to back off when a patient says no.
