I had surgery in 2015. Buried stitch + eye correction + a very slight epicanthoplasty to loosen the Mongolian fold. I was told buried stitches were possible, so I went with buried stitches, but in the end one side came undone completely after 2 years and the other side after 3 years. The point when the double eyelid started to come undone was from 2016. I took photos and the eye size had changed a lot. It was the first time it had come undone so I was unsure, but in the end, haha... that’s what happened. When I went to ask the clinic, the doctor said it wasn’t true.
