20 years ago, I had eye revision surgery and epicanthoplasty, and a scar formed like an epicanthal fold, making it look like there is eye discharge stuck there.
At the time of surgery, I felt uneasy because a nurse and the doctor had a conversation that seemed to point out some kind of mistake, with the nurse saying, “That side has been done once.” As expected, it was botched. Because I live outside the capital area, I wasn’t able to receive proper follow-up care and just let the years pass. The stress during all that time was enormous. I still resent that doctor. When I searched, it seems they also perform surgery at JJ Plastic Surgery.
Now my circumstances allow it, so I’m looking into epicanthoplasty revision surgery again. I really hope it goes well.
If they knew how desperate patients are, could they really perform surgery that carelessly?
