I finally had the splint removed today. But I am disappointed. Because of the swelling, the area between my eyebrows is still broad and flat, and from the front my nose is simply lying there comfortably, as if covered with a blanket. The side profile seems okay, but it is not the glamorous nose I dreamed of. Since this was a second revision surgery, I was told it might be difficult to achieve exactly what I wanted because there was not enough skin, but does it look so low because of the swelling?
