Review of under-eye fat repositioning in my 40s

I wondered whether lower blepharoplasty would be more suitable since I’m in my mid-to-late 40s, but I was told under-eye fat repositioning could also improve things, so I had under-eye fat repositioning at [Clinic A]. Since I was having surgery anyway, I also had fat grafting to the anterior cheekbones. My anterior cheekbones were quite sunken, but I told them I wanted a natural result because I was worried I might look like a round-faced steamed bun character if it was overdone, and they did it that way. The day of surgery was somewhat difficult, and for about 3–4 days I had some eye discharge when I woke up, but fortunately there was relatively little bruising or swelling. I went for walks frequently and did no other home care. I still have some soreness and a hard, uncomfortable feeling under my eyes, but the director said it takes time for the tissue to loosen, so I’m going to wait. My tired-looking appearance has improved considerably, and I’m satisfied with the results so far.
