Hehehehehe, it’s been almost 5 months since my surgery now! The top photo and the last one are from today, and the rest are photos from the past few days.
I chose this clinic after consultations at two places in total, and I had a 8 mm procedure with a partial incision and upper canthoplasty. I had the surgery right away during the week I had the consultation, but I really hope everyone is careful when deciding on surgery.. The doctor also made it sound like such a simple procedure, so I ended up doing it kind of impulsively lol
I wanted a thin line, almost like an inner double eyelid, but the line is much thicker than I expected and still looks sausage-like ㅠㅠ As for the asymmetry of the lines.. I can accept that, but the swelling is also very uneven, and on the more swollen side, the mucosal eversion is severe. As time passes, the swelling is going down very slightly, but the mucosal eversion is not coming down. Also, as a side effect of the epicanthoplasty, vertical wrinkles formed under my eyes ㅠㅠ After the surgery, the wrinkles around my eyes were so severe that I searched it up, and apparently it’s a side effect that happens not uncommonly.. I found out for the first time ㅠㅠ
I’m so anxious every day wondering if this really is swelling, and I regret it so much ㅠㅠ These days, a lot of people think lightly of double eyelid surgery, saying it’s not even really surgery, but I think you really, really need to be careful ㅠㅠ
