1st surgery: I had it done 8 years ago when I was in middle school at Bom Plastic Surgery in Apgujeong (I think the name changed to U-Bom Plastic Surgery).
I went there through someone my mom knew, but I really, really regret doing it without looking into more hospitals...
They lowered the epicanthoplasty downward and cut it very deeply, so my impression became harsh, and because they narrowed the distance between my eyes, my cheekbones were already prominent, but it made the empty space on my face look even wider... On top of that, the double eyelids also became inner double eyelids that were not even visible..... Sigh, when I think of that time, seriously... I want to flip everything over.
2nd surgery: On top of that, as if things could not get worse, my left double eyelid came undone, so I had a revision surgery. I paid 500,000 won for anesthesia.... If it comes undone, shouldn’t they obviously do it again? And for double-eyelid surgery, I had general anesthesia and even had to take off all my underwear for the surgery; thinking about it again, it feels uncomfortable... but I don’t want to think about it anymore. I spent almost over 2 million won on double-eyelid surgery at one hospital.
3rd surgery: The double eyelid came undone again, so I did not even want to see the letter B of Bom anymore... I ended up going to Banobagi through another acquaintance’s introduction. I received revision surgery from the most senior director, and during the consultation, he criticized it, asking who does an epicanthoplasty like this lol..... Revision surgery cost more.. What a huge act of being an unfilial child.... Instead, I had the surgery with scholarship money.ㅜㅜ The double-eyelid surgery was done under local anesthesia, and it hurt, but it was bearable. The out-line that would never come out at Bom Plastic Surgery was made thinly without looking burdensome, but matched as closely as possible to the size of my pupils... I really like how the line settled .. And with another director (the senior director was against canthoplasty..), I had lateral and lower canthoplasty to reduce the empty space up to the cheekbones, but it ended up uneven, so I’m a bit pissed. But I no longer want to touch my eyes, so I decided not to have any more revision surgery.... This also cost over 2 million won...
After getting lower canthoplasty, since my eyes were originally very upturned, it looked awkward, and because it pulls the skin downward, shadows formed in an uncomfortable way, making my eyes look even harsher... So circle lenses became essential ㅜ It is good that my eyes got bigger... but I wonder if I really needed to do it.... ㅜ
* If you make double eyelids too thick and do canthoplasty here and there, the pupils look very small, so circle lenses become essential... Let’s cut moderately.. *For canthoplasty, look into it carefully and figure out which canthoplasty your own face actually needs... Do not just open everything up, seriously......
