I went in just to get jaw Botox, but they explained that my salivary glands were too large and that I would probably see an effect only if I also got Botox separately around the temporomandibular joint area. It was my first time finding out that TMJ Botox exists separately,,, The TMJ and salivary glands count as special areas, so there was no price discount. I got Botox in the jaw, salivary glands, and TMJ, and there is definitely a face-slimming effect. I plan to get it again in 4-6 months, and I plan to keep managing it consistently going forward. If your jaw still seems to protrude even after getting contouring procedures, I recommend TMJ Botox together with jaw Botox!! (They explained that salivary gland Botox may not show an effect at first, and if there is no effect, they recommend getting it again after one month. In reality, I still cannot really tell yet, so I am thinking of getting the procedure again after one month.)
