After my first nose surgery, my nasal tip actually drooped more and became lower than my original nose..ㅠㅠ I disliked the shape of my nose so much that I wondered whether I had really even had nose surgery, so I looked into revision rhinoplasty. While going around for consultations, some places recommended autologous costal cartilage and some recommended ear cartilage, so at first I worried a lot..ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ
Some people said the results with autologous costal cartilage vary depending on the hospital and the surgeon’s skill, and many cases didn’t recommend it because it’s stiff, so there were parts I was worried about. As for ear cartilage, friends around me who had nose surgery said it would droop quickly.. They said that even if it’s stiff, autologous costal cartilage would be better. I worried a lot because of this, but in the end I decided on autologous costal cartilage..!
More than anything, until now other directors had said things like it wouldn’t suit me or it couldn’t be done, and that they couldn’t do as much as I wanted...ㅠㅠㅠㅠ The place where I had my first nose surgery was like that too, so I naturally thought it wasn’t possible.. But the director at this hospital immediately understood what I wanted and what I disliked, and said it was fully possible, so I thought this was the place.
In the end I had the nose surgery, and people who have had nose surgery will all know this. Even if there is swelling, you can still get a certain sense of it... But this time I could clearly see it. I thought, the nose I wanted came out~ There wasn’t much swelling or bruising either, and I’m just waiting for the minor swelling to go down!! The photos are before/after.
