Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Weverse review

First of all, the hospital interior was super neat and pretty, so the first impression was good. The counter staff were also very kind. I got my CT scan right after arriving, but the consultation with the doctor itself was about 40 minutes later than the scheduled consultation time. The consultation manager was really great. She explained things carefully and didn’t pressure me at all, so I felt very comfortable during the consultation. At the end, the manager even recommended that I visit other hospitals too and compare options, saying nose surgery isn’t a light procedure, so I should compare a lot. That increased my trust. The consultation with the doctor was short compared with how long I waited. About 10 minutes? Maybe because they were busy, they just rapidly said what they had to say, and it didn’t feel like a setting where I could ask questions. I don’t mind a dry tone of voice (as long as the skills are good. I don’t expect friendliness), but it felt ambiguous because the doctor didn’t seem very interested in what the patient wanted.. In the end, surgery is for my own satisfaction, but if the doctor doesn’t want to hear what the patient wants, would the result really be satisfying? I had that doubt.. Still, they seemed professionally competent, and according to the manager, they only do two surgeries a day, which I liked!

Conclusion = a hospital carried hard by the consultation manager. They seemed proud of the materials they use, and if I had heard that from the doctor, and if the doctor’s consultation had been as detailed as the manager’s, I would have chosen this place immediately.
