Mid-June 2023, I had a consultation with Director Shim Jeong-hwan at Weverse. My third nose surgery, which used autologous costal cartilage, failed, so my nose looked flashy, my septum was deviated, and my nostrils were asymmetrical, and I wanted correction and, as much as possible, a natural result with no implant. The silicone I had put in was 2 mm, so I also wanted to remove the silicone if possible, and while looking for a place that could create a refined yet glamorous look, I chose this consultation because the doctor had graduated from Korea University Hospital and had worked in a natural-approach style. The doctor was incredibly thorough and kind, took a long time for the consultation, and explained things in detail. The doctor recommended moving in the direction of making it higher, keeping the silicone, using autologous costal cartilage under general anesthesia, and raising the nasal tip more. That surgery direction did not fit me.
But it seemed like the doctor did not have much experience with autologous costal cartilage, and in fact said the surgical case would be used for an academic presentation, so I gave up because I did not want to become a research rat... ㅜㅜ Mine was a difficult case, and since I needed a doctor who had done this kind of surgery many times, I had to make this the last surgery...
While riding the elevator down, I looked it up again and it seemed this doctor was more famous for eye surgery than for noses.
