I’m really not a broker. I also thought about it for a long time before getting zygoma surgery, and I’m writing this because I like this hospital so much.
Last year I had a revision rhinoplasty here, and people really complimented my nose a lot, you know?
My cheekbones weren’t large, and Director Kim Tae-gyu also said, “Your face is small. But the asymmetry is a bit ambiguous~,” so
I chose the surgery for the purpose of correcting asymmetry. My face was ambiguous. Oh, and during the pre-op consultation, he said my facial bone only needed to be cut a little. I was scared he might cut a lot because people say doll-line procedures cut a lot, but I guess that’s not always the case.
But really, before surgery there’s something called a hemostatic injection that you get in the upper arm, and except for getting that one shot, up to my current day 6, I haven’t had even 3% pain.
Everyone said that when you wake up, your throat hurts because of the general anesthesia gas, and that the painkiller injection makes you nauseous and causes retching, but for me, really, retching... “Uh, Mom, am I a little nauseous..? Ugh.” I did that once, and after that I really wasn’t nauseous.
I fasted for 10 hours. I’m normally good at fasting... I also went in after losing weight until I was very skinny, just as the director instructed... People say they get so thirsty, but honestly I wasn’t that thirsty, and they told me to drink after two hours, so I did.... From day 1, my mouth opened a little, so I swallowed dumpling filling without chewing it and handled my meals that way. Porridge really has no taste........
They removed the bandage and I saw my face... Even though only a little was cut, the line subtly changed completely?? It was fascinating. That protruding bit on the side is gone...
And..... Really, the bone... doesn’t hurt?? Last year’s revision rhinoplasty really hurt like body aches until days 1 and 2 after surgery.
It’s fascinating.... I walked and walked, applied compresses, and worked hard, so the swelling is going down differently day by day.
However, for the Accu lifting and cheek hollowing correction, only the side that was asymmetric got really badly bruised. The swelling is wow! It is going down quickly though.
On day 5, I saw the director and had the sideburn stitches removed. One area of cheek hollowing, especially the left side, had a lot of bruising + swelling, and he said it wouldn’t do, so he drained a little blood... Oh my god, even that didn’t hurt.... The director checked everything really meticulously.... The nurses are angels too, really, the nurse with the bobbed hair and the nurse with the short cut.... I’ll still have to watch the result more, but so far I’m satisfied with the hospital’s aftercare. Well, I also haven’t had any major problems yet... The fact that it doesn’t hurt is the most fascinating.....
