I went for a consultation because I had severe rhinitis and wanted to have functional nose surgery together with cosmetic nose surgery due to a hump nose complex. After the CT scan, I went straight into a consultation with the director, who calmly and kindly showed me with photoshopped before-and-after comparisons where surgery would be needed and how it would improve. They said to use ear cartilage and donated dermis, and that for the functional nose I would need all three: septum, nasal valve, and inferior turbinate. The cost was set high for the functional part, considering that insurance would be applied, since it was a difficult functional case, and the cosmetic part was quoted at a reasonable price. The director was kind, but I do wonder whether all three functional procedures are really necessary.
