This place is very money-hungry and really not good. I'll cut to the chase and only write the facts.
The situation was that I had surgery on my nose tip cartilage without an implant, and I made a consultation appointment because I wanted it removed. The manager personally made the appointment for me.
1. Staff: One hour before the consultation on the day of the appointment, a staff member called and abruptly said, "Did you set out already? What time will you arrive? Ah, okay." and then hung up. This was the first time I'd ever gotten a reservation confirmation call like that.
2. Director: I arrived exactly at the scheduled consultation time, and there was no one there, so I wondered what was going on, but the director came to consult me while a patient was lying on the operating table. Then he said that because there was a patient on the operating table, we had to hurry the consultation. He was saying that since I came for a consultation, he had come to see me while leaving the patient on the table because he was afraid I'd have to wait. He then said he would avoid taking many questions and started a one-sided consultation. I wanted the cartilage removed, but he told me not to remove the cartilage and instead to harvest rib cartilage and scalp skin, add a bit more silicone, and make the nose higher. He also recommended too many additional procedures, such as treating rhinitis and the nasal valve.
3. Manager: The manager had a very unusual voice, was impatient, and was obsessed with money. I kept saying I only wanted the cartilage removed and did not want rib cartilage or scalp tissue harvested, but she kept saying that then my nose would be blunt or sink down badly (the director had said it would not sink even if removed), and kept forcing rhinitis surgery as well, saying this is an ENT clinic so it would be covered by insurance and pushing unnecessary procedures. She kept saying that if the cartilage were removed, the nose would be aesthetically ruined. Whenever I said I didn't want any additional surgery and only wanted removal, she would say, "Ah... so you won't do the rhinitis surgery either?" and even with a mask on, you could see her expression souring. She showed more dislike when talking about surgeries that wouldn't bring in money.
The consultation fee is 10,000 won. They do CT scans and virtual plastic surgery with Photoshop, but I was horrified by the excessive surgical recommendations, the poor time management, and the fact that they left the patient on the operating table and came out to consult me. And to make it worse, they said they came out to consult me because they thought I might have to wait.
