Orthodontic review

I had it done about 6 years ago, and because I was preparing to immigrate in a hurry, I finished after just 2 years. It was less about appearance and more that my right molars didn’t fit properly, so I ended up chewing only on the left for a long time. As a result, my left temporomandibular joint was strained, and I got it done when the pain became severe. Anyway, a friend of my father worked there (that person wasn’t an orthodontist, and there are three doctors at that dental clinic). I was recommended there and got it done. It wasn’t done for a protruding mouth; they did interproximal reduction, and my mouth moved back. At first it felt a bit awkward and I didn’t like how sunken in it looked, but you get used to it. My mouth may have looked better before when closed, but when I smile, my teeth are definitely prettier. People often say my teeth look nice too. I think I’ve gained a lot of confidence. Before, I was very self-conscious because one of my upper teeth protruded slightly. Not every dental clinic does orthodontics well, so you need to go to one that’s good at it. There are cases around me where the results weren’t great or things were done poorly, so please research carefully before getting orthodontic treatment.
