I had a long consultation with Director Kim Dong-jin. He seemed skilled and spoke very clearly about a plan tailored exactly to the patient’s necessary needs. This review is from a post where I organized my consultation-tour reviews on another cafe as well. Please refer to it. After watching a YouTube video that very accurately explained, from a surgeon’s perspective, the side effects of fillers, Ultracol, Juvelook, etc., I was reading community reviews and hurriedly booked a consultation. He was young, and we talked a lot about the direction I wanted most. -He said he would gently release (cut) the tight tear trough ligament, reinforce the orbital septum, and perform the surgery so things like sutures would not protrude. -Filler removal method: he said to stop getting dissolving injections now; during surgery, fibrous tissue can be removed, and injecting from above the skin to dissolve it can lead to poor results in terms of shape. He also said that if they try to remove all of the Ultracol, my own tissue could be torn out along with it, making the area sink in more, so complete removal would likely not be possible. (He also palpated the sunken lateral cheek on one side where I had only one side dissolved. He said not to make the other cheek sink the same way when there is nothing wrong with it just to match the abnormally hollow side; instead, he suggested refining only the lower line with jaw Botox.) -My skin elasticity is good and I have no wrinkles or sagging, so he asked why I was considering lower blepharoplasty. He said that should be done in the mid-50s, and honestly, even fat repositioning could be considered around the mid-40s. So I asked, “Then should I just get a small amount of filler to get by and do repositioning after childbirth?” He asked if I had photos of my face when the under-eye filler had clumped, so I showed him. He said because my skin is thin, I would 100% have the Tyndall effect, and since I had already dissolved it once, the under-eye skin is thinner and the Tyndall effect would look worse. He said he really absolutely does not recommend filler, and if I absolutely had to do something, to do only a very slight fat graft.
