During the consultation, the director said my eyes were not an extreme case, and that many people with more severe cases had also come in. They said it would be fully possible with incision, so absolutely not to do a double-line technique. They mostly proceed with incision only and said they have long experience, so I do have some trust to a certain extent, but, I plan to go for a second consultation and ask about side effects such as inability to close the eyes after incision because I have protruding eyes, an unnatural feeling after fat grafting, and overcorrection from ptosis correction. They said ptosis correction is required (since this does not involve an additional cost, I think they are saying it simply based on the doctor's judgment), but another hospital said my pupils do not look small because of ptosis correction, and that this is not the cause of a sausage-like eyelid. Here they said fat grafting is absolutely required, but other places did not recommend it.
When I brought up opinions that differed from the doctor's words (ptosis correction, fat grafting), the doctor grumbled that the eye structure is more complex than I know and spoke as if they were annoyed and did not want to explain further. They showed confidence that the recovery period would be short, and rather than coordinating opinions with the patient, I felt like I was unilaterally informed, "We will lower it by half here no matter what." But I also wonder if that is because of the limitations of revision surgery. They seemed very confident, but since this is revision surgery, I plan to be cautious and get more consultations.
The same-day reservation deposit is 50,000 won, so compared with other hospitals where it is 10%, it is not a small amount. There is also slight pressure to book, such as scaring you by saying the benefits disappear if you do not make a same-day reservation. It cannot be refunded in cash, but it can be used like cash for procedures and so on.
