After my first nose surgery, inflammation appeared within less than 2 weeks, and at the time my nostrils and columella looked very crooked. When I told the clinic, they said the swelling was going down at different rates and that we needed to watch it for 6 months, and they treated the inflammation. I received inflammation treatment for a week, and as the swelling went down, after 2 and a half months I also went on a diet. As I was dieting, the crooked nasal bridge, columella, and nostrils started to become very obvious, and people around me and even people seeing me for the first time kept saying it was crooked and asking why my nostrils were so uneven. I went through extreme stress during this process, quit my job, and at the 9-month mark I visited the clinic, compared before-and-after photos, and the director admitted that the surgery had been done wrong. The clinic said they would do the revision surgery for free, but honestly I had no trust in the same director. Given my situation, I also wasn’t in a position where I could receive treatment later if inflammation occurred. I decided to have the revision at the same clinic, but I was very anxious, and in the end I paid an additional 500,000 won to have the revision done by the chief director of the same clinic. Before surgery, the nasal tip kept getting very red, and in the evenings there was heat and slight pain, so I visited the clinic. Even after receiving medication, it did not improve -> they said it was because I had lost a lot of weight and there was pressure. They said it would improve during surgery.
April 2 (lowered silicone + septal cartilage) Revision surgery. Because the nasal tip had been red, I can’t tell whether the nose turned out properly or whether the nasal bridge is not crooked. The philtrum and columella were aligned in a straight line, and they also adjusted the nostrils so the unevenness is not noticeable like my pre-surgery nostrils. Since the revision surgery, I’ve been taking progress photos every day, so I’ll come write again around day 10 to 2 weeks.
