Personally, I’m so grateful to Manager Kim. I was too embarrassed to thank him directly. When I went for the consultation, I was in such a hard time, and my emotions were complicated and I was impatient, so it was hard to be careful.
It was hard every time to get overcharged, and when I tried to minimize it as much as possible, I just felt like I was being priced and had a mental crash, and I couldn’t open up, so my consultations with the doctors weren’t fruitful and I only wasted time.
After the consultation with the manager, I calmed down and started to think positively. Looking around the hospital, it seemed like he had a good image with other patients too.
Actually, I was worried about the doctor because he had a lot of experience and had been in one place for a long time, but he is not at all authoritarian and is calm. It felt like he maintained a middle ground, not too kind and not even a little rude. Really, after going through consultations, I realized that there aren’t many people who answer questions carefully without showing annoyance, so I trusted him a lot.
There are quite a lot of foreign patients at the hospital. I saw many from Asia, but there were also English speakers, which was surprising. But I don’t know the details, though it doesn’t seem like everyone at the hospital is positive about surgery. Foreign patients seem very strict too.
Honestly, the nurses are the kindest.
