The line I got with the buried-suture method was too high, so I went for a consultation about surgery to lower the line or about removing the buried sutures. At other hospitals, the consultations felt rushed, and honestly I even felt self-conscious asking a single question, but I was so grateful that they consulted with me well and explained things clearly. I was so moved that I even felt like just going ahead with it.
I also really liked that they honestly told me the pros and cons of both suture removal and incision, and said the choice was up to the patient.
