I got the procedure because the corners of my mouth turned downward, giving me a somewhat sulky impression! My lips were not originally on the thin side, and they were a bit protruded, so during the consultation I said I wanted the focus to be on the corners, and I got mouth-corner Botox + a moderate amount of filler injected to match my facial balance.
But during the first procedure, I don’t know if they touched the wrong spot, but as soon as they injected the left corner area, it swelled so much and bled a lot, so they dissolved it right away ㅠㅠㅠ In the end, on that day, they dissolved the upper-lip filler again right after injecting it, and I went home with duck lips instead of the sly, cute lips I had imagined..ㅋㅋㅋ The director was honest about this right away and gave me a sufficient apology + follow-up care, but that day I was so disappointed ㅠㅠ (They said the filler might have blocked a blood vessel, so for safety they had no choice but to dissolve it immediately!)
A week later, after all the bruising and swelling went down, I went back and safely got the second procedure. At that time, the director injected it really, really carefully ㅋㅋㅋ saying they were nervous too ㅠㅠㅠ In the end, I was very satisfied. The corners of my mouth had really drooped a lot, and I didn’t expect much because I thought there would be limits to what could be done with just a procedure, you know? But they lifted much more than I expected. They became totally sly and cuteㅋㅋ But what’s disappointing is that the effect doesn’t seem to last long. The first 2 weeks were the prettiest, and once all the swelling settled, it felt lacking compared with the initial volume ㅋㅋㅋ I think I understand why everyone gets it regularly. Next time, I want to get it done at another clinic. Oh right! During the procedure, I had numbing cream and injections, so it didn’t hurt that much.
