When adding anterior cheek fat grafting, the total cost was 1,628,000 won. My evaluation in one phrase: a factory-style clinic. They advertise a really lot. I was surprised because there was even an audio ad in the subway. An ad saying “(roughly marketing copy) ~~ Plastic Surgery Clinic is located at Exit ~ of ~~ Station.” I arrived on time for my appointment, but waited about 30 minutes. There weren’t even that many people, but there was no explanation at all for the delay. Thinking about it now, I wondered, was it really necessary? Was there any reason they had to make me wait? I also wondered if they did it on purpose (subjective thought). The consultation with the director went first. They said fat repositioning would be enough and that fat grafting was not necessarily required. There was no overtreatment, but because it was the first clinic I went to while looking into lower-eyelid fat repositioning, I didn’t know much and was openly awkward. Maybe because of that, the impression was not friendly, and it felt like, “You don’t really know, right? Okay, I’ll take care of it,” which was disappointing. There wasn’t much explanation either. They didn’t take photos and analyze them, or carefully diagnose my under-eye area. Now that I’ve gone around to many consultations, I do think about how easy I must have looked back then. The consultant was kind, but there was pressure to pay a deposit. The deposit was 100,000 won. However, when I requested a refund about 3 days later, they handled it cleanly.
