Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Woori Review

As soon as the elevator doors opened, the desk was right across from me. I was flustered; That’s how big the clinic is, and there were a lot of people, so it felt a bit busy. However, personally, compared with its size, I didn’t feel it was factory-like. The clean white-toned interior was pretty.

I visited on a weekday and got in faster than expected (director -> consultation manager). What was disappointing was that I felt there wasn’t enough communication between the consultation manager and the director. But since I’ve been going around to several places for consultations, I also think this may be unavoidable.

I was worried because I saw reviews saying they don’t do ultrasound scans, but they checked mine. Thanks to that, I found out that, contrary to how it looks, I surprisingly don’t have that much fat. But in the end, I wish they had explained what that meant. Whether it means my muscles are thick, and what procedure I should add because of that...

I think the consultation was around 7-10 minutes, and I liked that they clearly told me what I didn’t need to do and answered my questions right away. The director seemed to dislike facial liposuction in younger people, saying the younger you are, the more the face can sag. Also, they waved off thread lifting and advised against it, saying I didn’t need it. However, if I didn’t ask questions, they didn’t really explain much more.

Rather than feeling like a customized consultation, it felt like they were pushing “double-chin liposuction + muscle tying.” I’m not sure what their aesthetic sense is. Looking at the before-and-after photos, they seem to pursue a natural look. For reference, they speak quickly.

The consultation manager had the image of a textbook-style consultation, and was kind and explained things in detail. When you see the worst-case consultation managers, there are quite a few who give off “trying somehow to induce a same-day deposit + recommending unnecessary procedures + a cynical attitude about deposit refunds,” but even when I asked in detail about refunding the deposit, they answered kindly. There were no recommendations for other procedures either. Of course, there was still the same-day deposit push, like saying you can get the discounted price only if you book that day.

I even paid a deposit and left, but in the end I decided to have surgery at another clinic, so I got the deposit refunded.

Overall, it was a decent place, so I was left with a good impression. If I lived nearby, I think it would be a good place to visit a few times for skin treatments.
