Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Community review of a clinic

They said there is facial asymmetry on the CT scan. (It’s the same.) However, for just one rhinoplasty, they mentioned LMA/general anesthesia, and unlike the first hospital, they said my nose was not a bulbous nose but a typical nose. They said I do have some nasal bridge height, but if the nose is raised, it would make my face look even longer, so they suggested first balancing the overall proportions.

They said I had a vibe like Son Ye-jin in Crash Landing on You, and that even a very slight improvement from my current face would bring out a much more feminine feel, so they recommended three types of facial contouring surgery. They said if the three-type facial contouring surgery felt too burdensome, it might be good to shave the chin with genioplasty advancement and improve the impression of the face looking long. (I totally understood what they meant, but facial contouring feels burdensome.)

They said that if I had surgery without an implant, the surgical effect would be so minimal that even my parents might not notice, so it would be best to definitely put in about 3 mm of silicone, and that because the space between my eyes is narrow, they could not put in much anyway.

They had a very strong preferred aesthetic of their own, and it felt like they were asking me to fit that preferred aesthetic. And since my budget was not suitable, I strongly felt like they were adjusting the cost of genioplasty advancement + rhinoplasty to match what I wanted.
