Hello I’m the person who posted an alar lift review a week ago. I had it done at ㅇㅈ right in front of Apgujeong Station on Line 3. I got a lot of questions, so I’m posting ㅠㅠ As promised, I came to post my two-week review.
First, the swelling disappeared as if it had never happened, and my nose is back to my own nose, so I’m a bit embarrassed that I made such a fuss because of the swelling;;;
Back then I looked so ugly that it was hard, but the swelling really does go down!
I’m satisfied with the surgical result. It is absolutely not dramatic, and no one around me notices it ㅠㅠㅋㅋ but my own source of stress is gone forever, so I feel really good.
They say swelling can continue to go down for up to 6 months, so if it becomes a little more natural from here, I think there will be no problem.
The area where the columella was too hidden from the side has improved a little, but still- I think people with a recessed columella need to have the columella brought out ㅎ ㅎ Unless you change the nose shape itself, it does not mean the nose becomes pretty, and I think I now understand well why the doctors gave different opinions when I said I wanted to lift only the alae. ㅠㅠ People’s hearts are so fickle, right ㅋㅋ Once one concern disappears, I start wanting more.. ㅋㅋ
Still, for now, if you are concerned about your alae, I think it is not bad to try only the alar lift first, like I did.
No matter what surgery it is, even a very small surgery is something you cannot undo, so doing everything at once feels too scary ㅠ ㅠ
The droopy feeling improved a lot, it seems to have settled a bit more, and my nose has become more balanced. I’m satisfied.
